A superb nursing home! I had to leave a review for the staff at St Vincent nursing home for several reasons. For one, my father was cared for by the dementia staff, and they by far exceeded my expectations in how professional, caring, and friendly they all were. And secondly, because I had a presumption that nursing homes sort of neglect their patients ( this couldn’t have been further from the truth at St. Vincents). Every day my father had both nurses , as well carers attending to his every need on a consistent basis. His personal room & bathroom was comfortable & clean, and they even allowed us to bring his own wall-mounted TV from his house that the friendly handyman (I think his name was Zahid) set it up, so he could watch whatever he wanted all day. He was fed surprisingly delicious food throughout the day, and the staff sometimes even offered me something to eat when I visited, which was a classy touch. My family & I also appreciated their efforts to accommodate anything we asked of them, for my father’s comfort. All in all, I could not recommend St. Vincents more as a care home for someone’s loved one, and I feel they were a Godsend for my father’s final period of time with us. I wanted to give a big thank you to Lucy, Joanne, Fulsan, Rachael, Kitty Augustina, and ALL the very friendly staff in the entire facility, for your world class care, and for all you did to care for my father. My family & I thank you from the bottom of our hearts 🙏🏼

My brother sadly passed away in september 2024 and on clearing his property from the room he had it was noticed that 2 wristwatches he had had somehow disappeared. An enquiry into this did not find them so I would advise any families with relatives going into the Hammersmith home should be very careful what valuable possessions they enter with. the care he received cannot be faulted but be very careful with items of value
Very dedicated nurses & care staff. Always friendly & helpful. Mum needs & gets 24hr care. ...the only downside (not a complaint), is that they probably need a couple more staff as they often seem to be rushed off their feet.
My Mother was admitted the same day all the government COVID restrictions were revoked. Yet the manager has imposed an order of isolation on a paralysed diabetic resident where relatives were not allowed to visit for the first week. I informed the Pharmacist, as there was no Doctor on the ward round that day, and mentioned that there were additional therapy’s namely Linagliptin missing from her medications as well as advising the determined doses for her insulin’s. There were no further ward rounds by a doctor until the following Friday so called the nurse later that evening only to find out my mothers medication’s remain unchanged. She is still being treated for Type 2 diabetes solely with insulin’s at a rate of 160 units per day, without any additional diabetic therapy’s, so has gained excessive weight unnecessarily.
Looked after my friend's mum - so well! The staff were AMAZING, never complained if family came to visit late, allowed us to redecorate the bedroom a bit, bring in extra small furnishings etc, allowed us to decorate gardens for Jubilee and ROyal Wedding and brought all the patients out to have a social - it was a really special place, and I'm sure it still is.
