Impressed by the facilities here. There is a hairdresser, a biokineticist, a cafe, a library, a billiards room, a heated pool and a garden. However as a BIPOC I did not feel comfortable here or welcome. Staff were rude and hostile when I was waiting in the café or the library as I'm not a resident, I just visited the biokineticist based here. They refused to let me order a simple cup of tea. Someone even called a security guard on me cause I was "loitering". There is no waiting area outside the biokineticist! Where must I wait? The library and cafe are the closest waiting areas. Also people were very angry at me taking these two photos for my maps review even though I made sure not to take photos of people so their privacy was protected. Sorry I wish I could have taken more photos for you guys so you can see the lovely cafe and gardens, but I'm sure I would have been escorted out at that point. My biokineticist saved me when she came out to say I'm her patient. Shew! Great place though I can imagine if you are not BIPOC! These experiences wouldn't happen to you and you would probably get more respect. Two stars because of just how nice the facilities are.
Great security. Great staff. Modern Retirement. Heated swimming pool with a Biokinetisist. Great restaurant and baked specialities. Super food.
Pretty and organized- until you need to give up your cottage and move to assisted care - two months later still no value on Life Rights but they deduct the levy - if you decide you would rather invest the money and pay the levy monthy you need to wait 6 - 8 months as they need to sell it first and a 250k deposit is required - the care is good the handling of finances not
San Sereno is simply magnificent . The best decision we ever made in our lives was to come here. We simply love our cottage, great neighbours and other residents. Thanks to Auria the communal facilities are world class
