Residences at Belvedere

I had a wonderful experience with the Belvedere Residences, and the staff caring for my loved one. Excellent communication as we investigated which independent living place would be right for my loved one, and patience with all of my questions. Upon move in, staff were kind and welcoming, taking extra care to settle my loved one into the routines of meals, recreation, and life at Belvedere. Most important was the kindness and patience of the staff, as well as their seeing the unique individual each resident is. The staff have made the additional safety measures brought on by the Covid pandemic part of their routine, and are deeply concerned with the health and well-being of the residents. When Health Authority restrictions ease or tighten, the families are quickly made aware. I was so grateful to have such a safe and caring environment for my loved one.

Not all the showers work in the rooms and we have been advised they will never get them fixed. The industrial washing machine which is required will tear clothes apart. While staff are great, gifts go missing in the rooms, we have been advised that other residence will take things. I dropped off some batteries with a letter that it was for my mom's new digital clock, I had given to her 2 weeks earlier and they can't find the letter, batteries or clock.

They are looking after my Mother very well. But having to make an Appointment to Visit her is Bureaucratic BS. So One Star Off For That!
