I can’t sing the praises of Prince Alfred & every one of its staff more highly. From the moment we went there looking for somewhere for mum to recover from a fall we were met with kindness, understanding & friendliness. The staff member we met was hugely sympathetic & went out of her way to help. The home is literally that-a home. It’s immaculate, spotless & beautifully furnished. My mum had a lovely room overlooking a beautiful garden & fields beyond. The staff are unbelievable. Nothing is too much trouble. They constantly talk to residents & offer drinks, food & treats. The activities coordinator is the loveliest woman always thinking of new fun activities to keep residents happy. We visited many homes-some terrible, some ok, & some good but none compared to Prince Alfred. The manager prides herself on running a fantastic home with fantastic staff- she deserves a medal. If you’re looking for somewhere for your loved one look no further. You will find no better than Prince Alfred!

A wonderful home, the staff here are amazing and incredibly attentive to the needs of the residents. Was immediately made to feel welcome on our first visit to have a look at the home and our minds were made up immediately. A lovely location overlooking the park, with wonderful landscaped gardens for the residents to enjoy and with the recent refurbishment to the main communal areas and bedrooms, the place is immaculate and the home is truly a home from home. Couldn't recommend Prince Alfred's enough!!
Unfortunately with the loss of the manager Cheryl , the home is not the same as it was . The staff are really lovely from the admin to the cleaners but the management let it down.
I cant put into word how amazing this care home is my aunt was here for the last part of her life the staff are Angles and Cheryl the manager its just the most caring person you could ever meet i can't thank you all enough you truly are the most fantastic team your passion for making our loved ones feel at home is second to none thank for all your support we will never forget you love always ❤️ Lorraine Murphy and Family
I work in prince alfred care home for year and the staff are amazing can not thank them enough go out of the way to care for the resident and make sure there all needs of care Cheryl and the nusing staff all ways had my back and kitchen staff what can I say the food is fantastic make you fell so welcome care staff have heart of gold like one big family if I at to put my family members in home it would be prince alfred I miss all the staff and family's regards chunky chops julie
