I want to thank all the staff at Preswylfa for the fantastic care and kindness shown to my dear friend who sadly passed . In particular I want to mention Catherine who showed Colin kindness , patience and compassion throughout his short stay , Thankyou Catherine , you care was exceptional. And Josh ! What a happy caring soul you are , a favourite of Colin’s so Thankyou for your care , even though Josh worked on a different floor he always took the time for Colin. All the staff are friendly and full of smiles , nothing too much trouble at all. Thankyou to the young lady who sat with Colin untill the very end , from the bottom of my heart thankyou ( I can’t remember your name ) . The care from all of you was exceptional.

It has took me over 2 months to write this, first thing is IT IS NOT A END OFF LIFE NURSEING HOME, NEVER WILL BE,its like thay ant got a clue what to do how to treat people on end off care my Nanna only lived 8 weeks there and I wish she was never there.Within 3 mths I lost the Love of my life my soul mate my Nanna. Some of the staff do try do are clueless all my Nanna needed was someone to sit with on her last week's.I tried my hardest with 4 kids there every day 2 3 times a day feeding my Nan (when the tray was just left at her bedside with solids where my Nan was on blended.sje was crying for medication to help with pain.I was cleaning the room, demanding what was needed.I was in room when I asked them to move my Nan up bed and the lady said you will have to help me and I no what's what I'm a comminty carer myself I watched at first under arms was not happy, people will no what I mean.we would take in yogurts fruit if we didn't give thay would go out of date 1 2 staff tried. We got a fridge who ever looked in it keap leaving it open. The room toilet I couldn't flush never mind older people.Ow I can and will soon state more off what happened.Care home yea lovely BUT NOT END OF LIFE SORRY...Every day my Nanna never had underwear or night wear we brought her 8 New night wear and 3 old off 5 knickers all her stuff went missing and we would see a lady wearing them.Dont buy items like cushions to help support my nan as thay washed it and ruined it so we had to go buy another one.Every day we had to challange them. That care home PLEASE DONT SEND END OF LIFE PEOPLE THERE PLEASE
Not a good establishment by any standard My only recommendation is to avoid
Sad that the elderly are still being sent here.
Horrendous
