I wouldn't be surprised if they abused older people in their care given how they treated children decades ago. I have no experience with this place but how they can still operate is shocking and I would advise staying away given their past history with children. My father spent his last months here and was very happy. I found the staff to be very helpful and caring and always happy to chat and update me on how he was doing. They made every effort to be accommodating within the rules during COVID. There was a really nice atmosphere, and the gardens were a beautiful place for the residents to sit out in. The on-site chapel is stunning. I have only admiration for the staff and Sisters.
Huge building run by the Sisters of Nazareth that provides residential and nursing care and can also accommodate any kind of spiritual retreat for Catholic groups. The structure includes a nice kept internal cloister and a church.
Having regularly visited a Nazareth House resident in her 90s (2015/2016) I can safely say that the care appears to be excellent. My friend has become very fond of some carers in particular, who show great love and respect for their elderly residents
I have been there quite a number of times to visit a family friend. Their services are excellent ranging from professional administration to the carers . I was very satisfied with their services and I recommend them to anyone who needs the services of a nursing home.
