I have been impressed by Milner House since my Dad moved there a couple of months ago. In particular staff are so friendly and always have a smile for residents and visitors and make a real effort to make sure that residents are occupied and take part in activities whenever possible. It is also really lovely that individuals likes and dislikes are taken into account at meal times, making the dining experience a pleasure for all. Well done Milner House.

You will not find a nicer , more caring or helpful team than the one at Milner House. My Mum was treated with such dignity and was cared for so well up until her death. As well as caring for Mum they were extremely supportive of us as a family, offering love and hugs when needed. As a family we will be forever grateful for all their support.
Absolutely appalling. My relative was neglected and ended up in hospital within hours of entering Milner House. Do not entrust your loved ones to this place, it is unsafe. Buzzers of vulnerable patients constantly ignored. A disgrace.
Mum has been a resident of Milner House since Feb 2022 and I do not have enough praise for the staff magnificently led by Michele and all involved with the care there. Mum suffers from dementia which makes it difficult to have meaningful conversations with her but I can tell that she is contented there and relaxed about living there which is a miracle when you compare it with the old fiercely independent self she used to be. The actual home is a magnificent old manor house type construction which I think Mum prefers over the more modern type custom built care homes which can be a bit sole destroying. Jackson my therapy dog and I visit this beautiful home every other week. The residents are always so happy and the staff are amazing, I really get a sense that I’m visiting them in their own homes it’s really a beautiful kind setting.
