Decided to visit Kirkstall Court unannouced to see for myself what it was like as it could be a possible place to put a relative. On arrival we noticed how secure the entrance was having to speak to someone inside through the intercom before being let in. We were met by a lady called Carol who was keen to show us around. Firstly you notice just how immaculately clean the place is, not a speck of dust in site, then i noticed how well cared for the residents were all dressed in clean clothing and looking happy. We were met by several staff members who were all a credit to the company making us extremely welcome in warm family atmostphere. After having a much wanted drink of coffee we were shown around the building, the bedrooms were bright and cheerful and all had a toilet in them. There was a very large Conservatory which was also the dining room making it a pleasant change. There was nothing we found that was a negative hence i gave Kirkstall Court 5 Stars..

A friend with chronic drinking issues arrived at the £1000 a week kirstall court care home , a few days later I was phoned and asked to buy and bring tobacco, shaving and cleaning items and as quickly as I could because he didn't have any money, ( he can barely remember his own name ) I phoned today and asked if it was possible to visit and drop off the stuff which was agreed, they seemed more interested in their ability to get money from his post office account and if I could help them , when I arrived I was kept waiting nearly 20 before I was told my friend was asleep, but I could however leave the goods they asked for, I decided I wasn't a delivery boy and left, in total I wasted an hour travelling and 20 mins outside.... Annoyed and disappointed.
