We visited the Newton Abbot Centre several weeks ago to get advice about riser/recliner chairs and equipment to help with bathing/showering. We talked to Archie, O.T. and his student,Becca, and found them most helpful, pleasant and reassuring. Many thanks to you both and we are pleased to say we have had the work done, and are happily using the recommended equipment. I visited the Centre with my wife who suffers from Parkinson's plus. We came to look around at just what was available to us, but very soon drawn into a thorough helpful review of my wife's mobility problems. Next we were drawn into discussing improvements to our bathroom and on from there to kitchen equipment. We were there for an hour and a half and it was all really valuable.
Taking my mother down to look at beds, the lady we saw was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and she was very through. Whilst what were after didn't suit my mother's needs, she put us in touch with people who could help us further. Thank you very much for all you're help
Good range of 'disability' equipment to look at and 'try before you buy'. Really helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Not a shop so no pressure selling, just great source of information, guidance and advice.
