Mum is well looked after and comfortable, she gets the 24hr care she needs. Always very clean and the food is good - I sometimes wish I was staying for meals. The staff are great.

This home is understaffed and not fit for purpose. We told the manager that my dad needed a pressure pad at the side of his bed and to leave the bedroom door open as he wandered at night . He had only been in the home for 20 days when he fell at night and we have no idea how long he had been left !! We think he was left on the floor for hours as his door was closed. He has been deteriorating in hospital since the fall. Not one of the care home staff have called to see how he is !!!! To add insult to injury we have been sent a bill for the 4 weeks he has been in hospital. AVOID THIS HOME ……..
My auntie has been at this care home for a week rest bite and she has really enjoyed it, we have brought her home today and she has not stopped talking about how lovely and caring the staff were, saying it is a really nice place 😁 thankyou for taking great care of my auntie and she will be back next month for another 3 week stay ❤️
My mother lives at Heartly Green, run by CIC. Heartly Green is a place where people smile and laugh a lot. Every resident is treated as an individual which allows their personality to blossom. The staff are usually very welcoming to visitors. Entertainment and trips out don't seem to happen as often as they used to. I wish there was a little more happening to stimulate residents on a more regular basis. Cleanliness is a high priority with carpets being shampooed and floors being mopped regularly. It is always a clean and positive environment to visit, with a very 'family' feel about it. It is a great relief to me and my family to know that my mother is very safe and happy at Heartly Green.
My nana (88) has recently moved into the residential part of the home and as a family we are very pleased so far. Staff are very welcoming and friendly, the placxe is clean and tidy. I don't think there has been a time when I have been and not seen a cleaner doing bits and bobs. My nana has only been in the home a couple of week s but has already had her hair done, been to a singing session and is in Blackpool as we speak so I am pleased that there are activities. Overall, so far so good!
