Another Manager has gone. Anew manager was appointed in April and he has resigned. All the managers come and go there is something definitely not right in this nursing home. At the moment there is no manager so the staff think they are on holiday. My son who is non verbal fed through a tube was left for over 2.30 hours without his feed being turned on and nobody checking on him. When I came in to see him he was sweating profusely in a lot of pain and cramping and nobody cares. Even th nurse hadn’t come to see him. This is a disgrace. All the owner cares about is making money. If you have a choice to take your loved one elsewhere please do not come here. Residents keep calling and nobody answers or helps them. I am going to invite the BBC here because this plac the care is awful . To see

Another good manager has gone. Actually Justin was the best we have ever had, yet the indifferent company and home office made.him resign. My mum along with other residents are very sad
I have had the privilege of working as the Hotel Services Manager at Forest Care Village for 8 years now, and I cannot express enough how fulfilling this experience has been. This care home genuinely feels like a family, not just for the residents but for the staff as well. The residents here bring so much joy to our lives. Over time, they have become like family to me and my team. Each day, we strive to create a warm, inviting environment where they feel safe, comfortable, and respected. It's truly heartwarming to see how much they care for one another and how the bonds formed here are so genuine. Overall, I couldn't imagine being part of a better care home. It is a place where compassion, support, and love thrive. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a warm and welcoming home for their loved ones.
My son has been at forest care village for 3 years. The Nurses and Carers are really good. The nurses are professional and know what they are doing. The only problem was with getting a good Manager. In the 3 years 2 managers left and after that we have Mary who is an amazing Manager. She works so hard almost 12-14 hours. Mary is the the best Manager any organisation would want. Because of Mary people were actually doing what they were meant to do. I will be devastated if she leaves because Mary actually cares for the residents wellbeing and appreciates the good staff the ones who actually do their job. Mary has made the Nursing home a much more safe and comfortable home for the residents.
It is a fantastic place to live! The staff always try and help wherever possible. The manager goes out of her way to do what she can for residents. And finally I can't forget the lifestyle team go above and beyond to try and make everyone feel included!
