Although the building is old the staff is excellent. The care my husband received while there for a short staycation was great and he said the food was very good. The staff are very caring, attentive and patient and everyone went out of their way to make sure he was safe, busy and received his medication on time. As he has early dementia I am very grateful for everyone at Fergus Place for allowing me to have a much needed vacation.

Exceptional Care and Compassion I cannot say enough wonderful things about Fergus Place and the incredible team that has made my mom’s transition to her new home such a positive experience. From the moment we first visited, it was clear that this is a place filled with warmth, compassion, and genuine care. The management team — Jennifer, Caroline, and Naomy — went above and beyond to support our family during this transition. Their dedication and thoughtful guidance gave us peace of mind knowing that my mom was in the best hands. They took the time to answer our questions, address concerns, and ensure my mom felt comfortable every step of the way. A heartfelt thank you to Brooklyn and Pearl as well — their kindness and dedication have truly made Fergus Place feel like home. The love they pour into their work is evident, and it’s clear they genuinely care for each and every resident. I am incredibly grateful for the entire team at Fergus Place. All of the staff are amazing and you can be confident to have your loved one live at Fergus Place Retirement Home. I would highly recommend it. Fergus Place has wonderful staff. My brother has a good life at this home. However, seems like a big change in management and now monthly charges are unpredictable. Sometimes an extra 350$ has been added to monthly bill. The charge says it’s for redirection?
My experience with the Executive Director at Fergus Place Retirement Community was exceptional! I couldn't have imagined meeting such caring , & empathetic care from Adrian, the Executive Director. He went above and beyond what anyone can imagine with helping me find my mom a residence. I highly recommend this place and the care is phenomenal. With much gratitude, Luba Lundy
