Also, everything I overheard from the room adjacent to where the training took place was respectful and dignified. We chose Fairlawn for my mum because of it's smaller size and caring environment, which is evident from the moment you step through the door. One of the things that impresses me is the fact that all staff, whether they be housekeeping, working in the kitchen or the numerous carers, seem invested in the residents and know so much about their individual needs. We are very happy with the care she receives.

We chose Fairlawn for my father after visiting a number of care homes. He was discharged from hospital and wanted somewhere that he could recuperate before returning home. Our whole experience of the management, staff, cleanliness, the food and the quality of care has been outstanding. Unfortunately Dad had to be readmitted to hospital and is unlikely to be able to return but we would recommend Fairlawn unhesitatingly. A big thank you to Nicola, Karen and all the staff for the 2 months they cared for our Dad.
