125 Everitt Dr N, St. Albert, AB T8N 7R9, Canada
The care that my father receives in the dementia area is outstanding! He actively participates in all their activities. He is genuinely cared for, they take memory care patients out of the building for walks, they treat people with dignity and respect, they integrate memory care patients in activities with regular residents. When we visit our Dad the staff are super friendly and they give us on update on him. Our father is happy and thriving here. They have a games room which is used, we have discovered our Father likes shooting baskets. Love that they play The Oilers Games for the residents. Excellent facility! Highly recommend!

When it became clear that my mother-in-law was no longer able to be in her home without care, we needed to find her a place to live. Living in Bruderheim, St. Albert was not originally considered as a place to move. When a family member suggested Everitt Gardens, we decided to check it out. From the initial phone call, to our first tour, and finally to move in day, we were very impressed. During our first tour, we talked about my mother-in-law's current care needs. While we were touring, Angie focused on the best placement for my Mother-in-law's specific needs. For example, with her lung issues, she needed to be close to the elevator, and Angie promptly showed us how they could support her. My mother-in-law was already in the hospital, and we were needing a place as soon as possible. Everitt Gardens made sure that we had access to her apartment early, so that we could set it up and be ready for her when she was discharged. When she moved in, the staff were all very welcoming, kind, and reassuring. My mother-in-law was very apprehensive to start, but with this type of welcoming, she felt comfortable being there. It was very challenging for her to leave her home of 40 years, but as the months passed she grew to feel that this was her new home and made many new acquaintances. It was reassuring as a family member to know that all the staff knew her name and would make sure to say hi to her when we moved around the building. They would also show their kindness by staying a while to visit when they were bringing medications, and taking her to meals. Not being there 24/7 to help with her care started out as a worry for us, but the professionalism of all the staff allowed us to feel confident that she was being taken care of, and that alleviated much anxiety. After she passed away and we were moving out, I met two staff members in the elevator. When they asked which floor and apartment number, and I told them, they both immediately mentioned my mother-in-law by name and said that she was missed by them all. It was at that moment that I really knew that we had made the right choice. With our experiences at Everitt Gardens, I would not hesitate to recommend them. Thank you all for making the last months of my mother-in-law's life safe, comfortable, and, a little like home.
My brother and I thank the staff of Everitt Gardens for the excellent care my parents received while living there. The staff were always kind and often went beyond the call of duty in helping my parents. A special thanks to Angie for always being gracious and available. Our family would highly recommend Everitt Gardens. The Hastman family
Our family is so grateful for all that the staff do in the men's 4D unit. Our Pa was shuffled to this location when the hospital was done their work and they are just so caring, kind, generous and hard working! Staff brings musicians up to their locked unit to perform and they get many of the patients to enjoy dancing, clapping and whatever they are capable of. They have bingos, basketball and other physical/mental therapy events regularly which many of the men enjoy. The staff work so hard to care for them and we are just so grateful There was recently a terrible flu outbreak so they DOUBLED their staff and did everything possible to care for each patient more than I could ever imagine!! Such kind humans working there and living there. Thank you for all the effort you put into caring for the people we love! UPDATE: We now have been experiencing the Second floor care unit and they are just as wonderful as the fourth floor! During the summer they always took him out in the evenings for fire pit gatherings, ice cream time, wine time and so many events that he really enjoyed. Pat and Rose always get him involved in exercises and games, it's been really great! The staff on the 2nd floor is wonderful just like the 4th. They are truly working so hard to care for everyone as much as they can, if someone has a bad day they still do their best to make sure they eat and drink. They update us if anything is wrong and the nurses work so hard to get in touch with the drs if they are concerned about anything it is just wonderful. Still very grateful for everything so thank you!
Thank you Angie for your caring assistance during our journey to find a residence for a family member with dementia. Angie was able to connect with our sister to make her feel comfortable with the tour of Everitt's facility. At this time our sister will not be joining the Everitt residence. We hope going forward she will become a resident.
