My wife, Diana, has been at Darlington Court since August 2024. It was very difficult to find a care home that met her needs and was local, so I could visit often. When I decided that this was the right place the staff helped me to make all the necessary arrangements. They also supported me mentally as the process of having Diana in a care home was very challenging. Since she has been there I have been so pleased that I made, what I consider, the right decision. The atmosphere is wonderful, welcoming and supportive, nothing is too much trouble. All the staff are caring and look after the residents so well, I can’t praise them enough. The food is excellent and very healthy and nutritious and the staff encourage everyone to eat together. There are activities every day, I’ve been to some of the music sessions and they are wonderful. The games sessions that are arranged are fun and enjoyable. All of the staff are friendly, helpful and happy to spend time with the residents and with me if I have any concerns. Altogether it is an excellent care home and I know that Diana is being well cared for, which means I can leave there knowing that she is safe and well looked after.

I am so grateful to Darlington Court for taking mum in and giving her some much needed respite after a horrible time in hospital. The staff have all been so kind, friendly and professional. The facilities and activities are excellent and it is a lovely environment. At a time when our world has been turned upside down due to mum's sudden deterioration, Darlington Court have provided much-needed support, comfort and reassurance.
I was recently looking for a residential care home for my father-in-law, & Darlington Court was recommended to me. We were met by a very nice lady. She listened to everything we were looking for, & needed, and took time to show us around & talk through everything. Darlington has nice, comfortable rooms, lovely gardens, & is cost effective. It felt like a real home from home.
Sadly my Mother only had a very short time at Darlington Court i wish it could have been longer as the care home and all the staff were wonderful, the home is modern very well kept clean and homely. All of the staff treated my Mother an us relatives so very kindly as though they had known us for years i cannot praise them enough. If you are looking for an Excellent care home look no further than Darlington Court i highly reccomend them. J,Hart of Littlehampton.
I can not praise the staff enough at Darlington Court. My Grandmother has recently spent 4 weeks being cared and looked after by the staff. The main entrance admin reception staff always smile, say hello and make you feel welcome. So very helpful and jolly. The building is immaculate, clean and well looked after. When you pass any staff everyone from the cleaning team to nurses they always say hello. Need a vase for some flowers? no problem. It's little things they did to make the time spent there comfortable for anyone staying. A well organised and great place to rehabilitate. Set in a lovely area where the rooms are spacious and just right. Thank you to all of the staff at Darlington for your support and care to my Grandmother Jean Southon. She is a feisty 92 year old and can be hard work at times, you managed and cared for her with kindness and professionalism. With best wishes to you all Simon, Barry & Janet.
