From our tours, the building looks lovely and welcoming, and all the staff we’ve met seem friendly and helpful. Katie and Amanda have consistently gone above and beyond to provide information, answer questions, and make the process smoother. Their kindness and professionalism are greatly appreciated.

Our mom moved into Chartwell two weeks ago. We were all anxious, but the team at Chartwell has been amazing. They let us move her furniture in early, eased her through the transition and got her connected with other residents. Mom says she can’t believe they all know her name and stop in to see if she wants to go to events, etc. She loves the food and range of social events. She has been to exercise, bingo, the music events. She got her flu shot there and her hair done. She is amazed at the variety of food choices, and that if she doesn’t like something she can ask for something else. Her only worry is that she will gain weight!! She is very happy as are we!!! Thanks to the full team.
Chartwell Wellington Park's staff have been wonderful to my mother. She has fallen a few times during the night and the staff's quick response to attend to her needs has been great. The staff have been very accommodating and seem to actually care.
Mom had recently suffered a nasty in fall at home managing to break her ankle and requiring respite care . We looked throughout Guelph visiting several homes with many not offering these services while others were fully booked with no space . We meet with Danielle and she made the enter process seamless from start to finish along with the support staff at Wellington Park Guelph to assist with Mom's short stay and care . Her studio suite is nicely accommodating and we have been able to move in the required equipment to allow mom to be safe along with her staff supporters. Looking forward to her return home however in the meantime feel comfortable knowing she has 24-7 care at her fingertips with a nice place to stay and a good variety of meals daily along with scheduled activities so thank you again Danielle and support staff at Wellington Park for making Mom's respite stay comfortable !
Our experience with Chartwell Wellington Park has just begun in January 2024. My Mom was excited and a little anxious about her big move as she left her home of 72 years. We are happy to report that it is a pleasant and active community. Mom enjoys her meals And the very friendly staff and residents who are always saying “hello” and welcoming her to join them in their activities. At 96 she even joined an exercise class using a beach ball. Thank you to everyone helping to make this a pleasant Retirement Residence.
