Chartwell Royal on Gordon is an amazing residence. We looked at at least 10 different residences in the Guelph, Kitchener and Stratford area and this one was the best hands-down. The staff are incredible and work as a real team. It is obvious they are carefully chosen for their people skills, kindness, and devotion to their job and more importantly to the residents. THAT above all was very obvious on our first visit and really made it feel like home!! It’s like living in a small town where everyone looks out for each other!! All the staff learn and know the names and likes of everyone. I would highly recommend Royal on Gordon to anyone in the area!!! The food is very good and there is lots of choice on the menu. Miriama is just one of the great cooks there but she is absolutely amazing. She has a HUGE heart and she makes sure absolutely everything is perfect for everyone. 💗 The wait staff are all very caring and look after everyone so well!! Michelle has been a regular at our table and she does such a great job of making sure everything is perfect. The nursing staff like Remi and Summer are amazing and take such good care of mom. They go above and beyond. Brian who is in charge of activities makes everything so fun, and Meagan the General Manager has such a gentle way about her. She is the perfect fit for her role and it shows in how well this Chartwell runs. I would 100% recommend this residence to anyone who is looking. Well done Royal on Gordon!!!

Chartwell is such a great place in our community for senior living and retirement. The staff are so kind and helpful, and the community has such a welcoming atmosphere. We work alongside their team, getting first hand experience to the professional support they provide to residents and businesses in the community.

Recently moved my grandmother to the Royal on Gordon. During our tour and subsequent visits, all the guests we encountered were all content and happy to be there! My grandmother loves the food and the staff are very caring and helpful. For my grandmother's birthday, a table was decorated in her honour, balloons and flowers were provided and anyone who wanted, was able to have a glass of wine to toast the event. The staff even brought in a musician to celebrate with everyone. My mother was moved to tears. If you have a family member in need of care, I would highly recommend the Royal on Gordon.
