Extra assistance has been flexibly available when she needs it, always provided by cheerful and kind staff. The food is delicious, and the common facilities beautiful and well appointed. Mum's spacious apartment has a wonderful view of the city.

My parents have been staying at Chartwell Rockcliffe for over 2 years now. My parents are often saying how friendly both the staff and residents are. The front desk, housekeepers, cooking staff, health professionals and maintenance staff are all very professional and devoted to their roles - the building is always in immaculute condition and the guests well looked after. Thank you very much.
I would have liked to leave a good review but I can’t. Some of the services were very short of my expectations. The health and Wellness manager was great but she left to work elsewhere. I wanted the best for my parents but I ended up very disappointed in the end. There is still a lot of room for improvement in this so-called upscale residence.
Our mother had the pleasure and luxury of calling the Chartwell Rockcliffe Retirement Residence her home for the past 7 ½ years. The Rockcliffe staff, some of whom she had known her since her arrival in April 2016, became her extended family by virtue of their genuine caring personalities. She spent the first 3 ½ months of her tenancy at the Rockcliffe in a one bedroom unit with our father on the extended care floor (second floor). Her remaining 7 years were spent in a beautiful corner suite on the 4th floor in independent living, where she peacefully took her last breath on January 13th 2024 with a view of Ottawa’s winter wonderland. Our parents felt fortunate to be able to live the last chapter of their lives at the Rockcliffe. We would recommend without hesitation the Rockcliffe residence where you can expect a superior dining experience, a large selection of organized activities, all the care services needed for your golden years and all this located in a beautiful setting surrounded by water and wildlife.
My 84 year old mother is in the process of relocating from her home in Calgary to Chartwell Rockcliffe and it is indeed a huge transition for her. I cannot say enough about the warmth and kindness of the staff as she toured the beautiful, top maintained building and suites. The food was delicious and the care and attentiveness about all the aspects of the move from Bembinda Amorim, Rockcliffe’s Retirement Living Consultant cannot be surpassed thus far. I am truly looking forward to having my mother close by and watching her enjoy her new apartment and surroundings and her new friends. Thanks to everyone in advance !
