Our family had a wonderful experience with Chartwell Oak Park Terrace Retirement Residence this fall, where our dad was warmly welcomed and exceptionally cared for. The staff were absolutely outstanding—caring, friendly, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their genuine dedication to residents’ happiness and well-being was evident in every interaction. The location couldn’t have been more ideal, centrally located with easy access to shopping, hospitals, and pharmacies, which made everything incredibly convenient for us and our dad. The facilities were impeccable—sparkling clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. It truly felt like a welcoming and peaceful home away from home. The food was another highlight! Every meal was delicious, and the kitchen staff were wonderfully accommodating, whether it was fulfilling special requests or delivering meals directly to the room when needed. Management went above and beyond to ensure our dad’s comfort and happiness. Their helpfulness and personal approach meant so much to us during his stay. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our decision to choose Chartwell Oak Park Terrace. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Oak Park Terrace. My mother has dementia so being all on one floor makes a huge difference. Staff are so friendly, great food and call her to remind her about meal times. It’s such a relief for the family knowing she is finally eating properly, taking her meds on time and enjoying socializing playing Euchre daily. The place is beautiful, hair dresser on site, family Dr visits, flu shots…they have it all covered. I highly recommend this place.
Great place for seniors to live. My mom has been there 1 1/2 years. My mom is so happy. The staff is great and care is number 1 priority. Mom gets involved with everything. I think she enjoys the bingo the most. Always busy there. Very fussy with food but loves it there
My father in law came in for a stay to gain the strength to move back home after a fall. He liked the facility so much that he has decided to stay. A couple of the reasons are the great meals and his interactions with the staff. Connie and the staff have been amazing in helping us through this process. We are so happy he is happy, fed and safe.
We have recently moved Mom to Oak Park Terrace from another retirement home. From the moment I walked in the door, I immediately felt welcome and a happy vibe from the staff and residents. We enjoyed a delicious lunch with Mom. There are so many food options to choose from. Mom's new suite is bright, cheery, updated and spotless. Connie Filice the retirement living consultant assisted us with a smooth move and transitioning Mom to her new place. She took a lot of the moving stress and worries off of our shoulders. Connie is super organized and helpful in every way. She is an angel. The entire staff have introduced themselves to Mom and made her feel like home. I can see the staff are very happy working there. I would highly recommend Oak Park as a senior's residence and am so happy with the care given to our Mom. Mom loves it here! 🥰
