My father was in Charlton Park Care home for nearly 9 months, in this time the staff looked after him impeccably. Now I work at Charlton park have done for years, every one new my dad, and when I wasn’t working, I never worried about me not being there, I knew he was safe and well looked after.He went into hospital and had small op and was sent home too early, which caused home to get sepsis, he passed away in hospital, myself and my family could not have asked for better people to look after him, we all felt the love from management, and all the staff, carers, laundry, kitchen staff, domestic, laundry.we can’t thank them enough.

My husband was in the care of Charlton park care home for 19 months before he passed away. The staff team who looked after him from the chef and kitchen staff, the cleaners and laundry staff were very professional, helpful and friendly. The management had an open door policy and were always willing to listen , help and advise. The nursing staff are extremely caring and go the extra mile for everyone in their care , including the families of residents. The support and understanding we received during my husband’s last hours was outstanding and so very much appreciated. This home may need some renovation and is not the most modern but I would be happy and willing to recommend it anyone looking for a safe and happy place for their loved ones
My father was only in this nursing home for a short while. Whilst there he received outstanding care from the staff looking after him. Harriet, the manager is a wonderful warm person who is always around should you need her! Thank you Charlton Care home for taking such great care of our wonderful father!
