First time visit to Cluny Lodge to see a lovely lady, Mrs Martin 3.1.25. Stunning building on entry. I was impressed with the high tech log in system used for visitor/fire register & countinued throughout including QR codes for each resident(s) drs. This scanner can show when domestic/carer/nursing staff have delivered personal care etc On entering Mrs Martins room I was met with a timeless, classic style, exceptional wallpaper with co ordinating quality roman blinds, just like the lady herself. I was equally impressed with the staff, I believe his name was Raz, ( I apologise if this is incorrect), his attention & interaction with Mrs Martin was second to none. Once she was settled onto the most comfortable sofa in the lounge he quickly offered coffee & what looked like home made shortbread.The lounge was impressive, like walking into a stately home. Beautifully decorated, no expense spared. On the conclusion of my first time visit I had a quick tour of the premise, communal areas, new namaste room, dining room, ( I may add was like walking into a michelle star resturant) & it did not disappoint. This exquisite lodge was exceptionally decorated & done to a very high standard tnroughout including fresh flowers.Attention to detail is a must for me, Cluny Lodge-Edinburgh you did not disappoint. I couldn't be more proud that the great grandmother, (her Ladyship Mrs Ann Martin), of my grandsons Jacob & Joshua gets to enjoy her latter years in her very own Downton Abbey. Now that is what one calls a beautiful ending to A WONDERFUL LIFE. Thank you for a wonderful visit..Liz winters

Cluny Lodge did an outstanding job of looking after my step-father in the last years of his life. They could not have been more understanding and communicative with all family members who were desperate for news during this pandemic. Staff were professional, delicate and so incredibly warm throughout his stay that we knew he was in the best hands possible.
My grandfather stayed at Cluny Lodge and the service was impeccable. There is a day trip bus where he was able to visit the botanical gardens and come back and have tea and other activities. The boutique bedrooms really show how much effort the staff put in to the care of each and every resident
We are extremely happy with the level of care my Gran is receiving. The staff are always so welcoming and friendly. Very homely place and run very well.
Staff are caring and compassionate, facilities are comfortable and activities catered to residents needs and preferences.
