Broughton House, Park Ln, Salford M7 4JD, United Kingdom
My name is Kelly, a family member of one of the staff who worked at this care home. I want to highlight the serious issues within this facility, which is far from the image it tries to portray. Staff members are treated like criminals, constantly monitored through CCTV with no freedom to work properly. The management is toxic, prioritizing business, money, and awards over actual care. Many employees have been unfairly dismissed, creating a fearful and oppressive work environment. The CEO treats staff terribly, showing no respect or concern for their well-being. Instead of fostering a supportive environment, they create a culture of fear where employees are easily replaced rather than valued. Even worse, serious safeguarding concerns have been swept under the carpet to protect the home’s reputation rather than addressing the well-being of the residents. Some families were unhappy with the level of care provided and decided to move their loved ones elsewhere. The environment is stressful, unethical, and far from what a care home should be. If you think I’m lying or just trying to damage their reputation, ask any current or former staff member. They will tell you exactly how toxic this place is. The reality behind closed doors is far from what they want people to believe. Rating: 1/5 – Poor staff treatment, neglected residents, and a management system that prioritizes reputation over care. I strongly advise against working here or placing a loved one in this facility.

Not good just concontrate on getting money from charity's sponsorship found it cold never get to see the manager she tells staff she not in sends someone in her place
I can only only give this care home a maximum of 2 stars and that's only due to 2 factors. The building itself is absolutely beautiful and the care staff are brilliant and the residents are really well looked after. As a member of the public I'd be happy to place a relative at Broughton house as I know they would be looked after very well, but as an employee, I wouldn't even rate this place with 1 star. The place runs off agency staff and the staff turn over is shocking and it comes down to how the staff are treated/spoken too, even the managers come and go. The induction process is very poor, you are thrown into your role without any training or clue of what is expected of you and then penalised when you make a mistake or don't do your role up to their standards. I would not recommend applying for a position at this care home unless you like to be screamed at, interrogated, belittled and humiliated in front of your colleagues. I have never been employed by such an unprofessional workplace.
Lovely home for retired service people and others. They have fairs to help raise funds. Which are nice to go and enjoy.
Well kept building, very polite and attentive staff, executive officers and management team were on hand to welcome guests, buffet was tasty and very well presented.
