I recently visited Bourne Wood Manor for their event, in particular their valentine day flower arranging and the afternoon was wonderful. All the staff are kind and caring and always make sure you feel welcome. All the residents were smiling and having a lovely time. I will be back for their next event!

After my grandparents suffered a steep decline in their health and capacity to live alone over the Christmas holiday period, we decided as a family that they should move into residential care, urgently. I spent an entire day touring all of the care homes the area and Bourne Wood stood out by miles, it is akin to a 5 star hotel. The team bent over backwards to get them moved in, without the need for them to be in separate rooms in a matter of days if not hours following my initial visit. The team and home at Bourne Wood are remarkable. A few names that I feel must be mentioned are: Annie, Cheryl and Evelyn for going above and beyond with minimal time, Sue, for going the extra mile to make my grandparents happy and keep them in their tradition spanish coffee of an evening, Charlotte, for working with me while we navigated the finances of it all, Julia and Tanya for always giving a warm welcome, and Anna-Maria for going above and beyond to know them and keep me informed Thank you!
I visited Bourne Wood Manor last week to attend a presentation about Stroke awareness on World Stroke Day. The presentation was very informative, I took a lot from it, the evening was organised really well with a good mix of residents sharing their views and visitors asking questions. Bourne Wood Manor has a nice atmosphere to discuss such an important topic.
I visited my mother at Bourne Wood Manor recently for the first time. I spent a week going in and out to see her daily. I am very impressed with care she receives. Her ensuite room is lovely. The food is very good and I was able to dine with her in the Bistro area. All the staff were very friendly and took the time to talk. There is a wide range of daily activities and outings for the residents and the activities staff are very enthusiastic and encouraging. The care staff were very patient and attentive. It is a huge relief to know she is being well taken care of there.
I recently had the opportunity to visit Bourne Manor Care Home, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted by Annie. The staff members at Bourne Manor are truly dedicated and compassionate individuals. They go above and beyond to ensure that each resident receives the highest level of care and attention. Their commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment is evident in every interaction.
