From the first phone call to Beaconsfield Heights I felt reassured by their caring approach, efficiency and the advice they were able to give about dementia care. When we visited we were immediately impressed by the happy atmosphere and variety of well-planned and appropriate activities. Leaving your home is a hard decision to make and so Mum opted to try an initial month’s respite care. At the end of that month she had no hesitation in staying. The staff are unfailingly cheerful and I feel that Mum is genuinely happy there and making the most of this stage of her life, despite her memory loss. I have no hesitation in recommending Beaconsfield Heights.

It’s always heart wrenching when a parent loses their independence and have to move from the family home, its compounded in my case by the fact I live in Canada and can’t visit as often as I would like. The saving grace is I know my dad is in excellent hands and receives the best care. The facility is very nice and the staff wonderful. It’s a challenge sometimes coordinating FaceTime calls from Canada but the staff always try and accommodate. Thank you for looking after my dad who looked after my brother and I so well over the years. God bless and Merry Christmas …. Simon
My mum has been to a few care homes but not one she’s been able to feel settled . She has carers who give her exceptional attention, a chef who provides for her every whim and entertainment that keeps her feet moving. A garden she loves. Really lovely place for her to be
My mother had the pleasure of staying at Sunrise in Beaconsfield for the last four years, and it allowed her to have a high quality of life, in a safe environment. The building itself is custom built for the purpose with elevators and no difficult steps. The building is kept spotlessly clean and always smells fresh and clean. They offer a variety of rooms, and my mother had a lovely room with space for bed, sitting area and kitchenette. However what separate’s Sunrise are the staff and the way they are managed. All the staff are highly professional, but their care goes way beyond that, with a real desire to understand each resident, and to care for their individual needs. During her stay my mother always felt safe, and her various medical conditions and medication were careful monitored, and dealt with. My mother very much enjoyed her last years at Sunrise, and I would recommend it unreservedly.
What a great place. Superb surroundings and wonderful caring staff. Always willing to go the extra mile to put a smile on residents faces and ensure that all are included in their activities. When the time is right this is the place for me.
