As a contractor that works within lucerne on a weekly basis I cannot fault them. The nursing, care and activities team go above and beyond and always with a cheery disposition. Communication is excellent when relaying information regarding residents needs for my services. I have always been treated incredibly well and will always recommend.

My father attended for a post acute infection admission to RDE for care and support. He is a 93 year old with a high level of function prior to his admission. 3 weeks later he was well enough to return home and the kind care and support as well as supportive physical rehab means he is on fast track to independence again

I've been visiting Lucerne House for the past 5 years or more now. I can't recommend it highly enough! Beautiful established gardens to sit in and enjoy. There's always a warm welcome on arrival and friendly, attentive staff. Feels like home from home. They have a wonderful activities team who organise days out and enjoyable crafts, music etc The staff work hard to be the best team (despite the challenges) and are caring and attentive with the residents, which is exactly what is needed in this environment! They have regular open days so you can go and look around and meet the team and Sally, the manager. Of all the homes we visited, Lucerne stood out above the rest!
Working as a Contractor on site at Lucerne throughout the end of 2024, I was impressed with the professionalism shown by the Staff at the home. Completely refurbishing a 2000m2 Roof on a active Care Home had its challenges, the the comradery shown by Sally the General Manager, her deputy Grace, Chris the Head of Maintenance and the rest team was faultless, working with us, not against us in our bid to complete the project within the Calendar year. Thank you Sally and your great Team!!
