My mum has been a resident at Avon Park for over 6 years it is an amazing care home. The staff are all very caring and compassionate which makes for a friendly relaxing atmosphere we are very lucky mum is very happy there. I think Avon Park is one of the best residential care homes in the area. A big thank you to all the team.

Nobody wants to put their parents into a care home, but if you need to, it has to be right. The staff at Avon Park have been amazing and treated my mum which so much care and attention. In her final months they went above and beyond to make sure that not only was she looked after, but we were too, with multiple cups of tea and biscuits. Their kindness and support through hugs, tears and 'little chats' has meant the world to us all. Thank you x
Mum recently had a four week respite stay. Avon Park is a wonderful family run home with fantastic staff and facilities. The staff/management were so kind and approachable paying particular attention to individual needs in an empathetic and respectful manner. Mum stayed in one of the newly built rooms which was 5*, en suite, garden view and access, warm, bright everything you could wish for. Throughout the home, everything is clean and well presented, with the common areas both cheerful and calming. Residents are encouraged to join in with the activities including bingo, church services and quiz morning. The meals were excellent with tea, coffee, juice and snacks always available both for residents and visitors. Mum’s stay has come to an end now but she will return to have lunch with the staff and friends she made during her time there. Thank you all for your wonderful care, attention and friendship afforded to Mum and her family and friends during her stay.
Family owned and run with great attention to detail by its staff, some who have been employed for over 10 years! My Mother (resident for 2 years). made the transition from her own home to Avon Park extremely well, no small part due to the environment, this and the systems in place adapted to her needs and made her feel at home. Some of the staff remembered my mother from 14 years ago when she visited some of her friends, a testament to how well they treat employees. Possibly a waiting list so plan ahead! I can not speak more highly about this care home.
We were confident after our first visit to Avon Park that Dad would be happy there. We were greeted and shown around by Mitch and Amy who were very welcoming and put Dad at ease immediately. The owner and all of the staff are very friendly and caring. Dad always has a smile on his face and is happy with his new life and full of praise for the staff. We were promised that they would do everything possible to ensure Dad was happy in his new home and I’m pleased to say they’ve done just that. The property is well maintained and kept spotlessly clean. 10/10
