After a difficult week for my 91 year old mother with 3 Ambulance trips to A&E the 3rd visit being admitted to Hospital she was not well enough to come home and was taken to Avocet Court care home . She is being very well looked after the Staff are very welcoming and the residents all seem happy and settled. We are delighted that she now has 24 hour care and we are all happy to make it a permanent home for her in the future . Thank you to all the staff for their support and kindness to my mum and her family at such a stressful time.

Our mum has been a resident at Avocet since November 2024. She was diagnosed with dementia, and moved to the Harlech unit. The care is amazing, the staff are so compassionate, caring and kind. They have helped me through an extremely challenging time, helping me to understand and come to terms with my mums diagnosis. Thank you to all of the staff for everything they do for my mums care.
After 4 yrs of difficulty was so pleased when my husband Martin was moved to Avocet from hospital. The staff are amazing, the cleanliness perfect & food amazing. It's a difficult time & hope a permanent room will be available to enable Martin to continue here. No where else can compare. A massive thank you.
I have been visiting Avocet Court for the last few years as an entertainer. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. The activities team go above and beyond to enrich the lives of the residents on a daily basis. The events I have been a part of have been fun, inclusive of everyone and well planned with beautiful decorations and exciting themes. Thank you to all the team.
I have visited Avocet on numerous occasions the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The facilities are scrupulously clean and cared for. Also the staff go above and beyond for the residents. I would not hesitate to recommend Avocet for any future family members considering placing a family member in their care.
