My mum was in the Nevis section for palliative care as she had terminal cancer. All of the staff were extreme caring and both nurses were very kowledgeable re end of life care. Communication was excellent. I couldnt fault the care that she received. A huge special thank you to Rochelle who supported us through the last 2 days of my mums life. I cannot thank you all enough for the support and care you all provided when we needed it. x

My Dad was in Blencathra Unit from December 2020 until he sadly passed away in January 2023. During his stay ALL the staff from management to cleaners were absolutely fantastic and even made visits available during covid (under controlled conditions) which was important for his wellbeing. He was treated like their own family and at the end they were all very emotional and supportive to myself and my siblings. Nothing was too much trouble for them, providing us all with refreshments. It is not an easy job caring for dementia patients, I take my hat off to them all. Thanks for taking such good care of him xx
Aspen Hill Village looked after my dad since December 2023. Dad (Henry) passed away peacefully yesterday 23 March 2024. The care he was given right until the end was beyond question fantastic. All the staff, and I mean everyone, we’re so passionate about providing the best care possible. On behalf of my Dads large family bless you all and thankyou from the bottom of our hearts. You will always be in our thoughts for the love and care you gave to my Dad.
