I cannot express enough gratitude for Amica Somerset House and the incredible support they provided my mom as she began her journey with dementia. She lived here for 2.5 years, and even though we eventually had to transition her to a different facility for more complex care, the team at Amica made the initial stages of her journey so much easier for our family. The Director of Wellness Caroline is absolutely fantastic. She leads a team of highly skilled and compassionate nurses who go above and beyond every day. This place is amazing. My mother has settled in incredibly well. The welcome offered to her as a newcomer was lovely: friendly staff, and a hospitality table at mealtimes. The respite suite offered to her on short notice was invaluable to us. She has raved about the chef and meal presentation. Her freshly renovated suite is furnished with touches of home. It’s an easy walk-out to the garden for her beloved dog. She is happy, her health has improved immeasurably, and we are so grateful.
