Unfortunately, as in every nursing home, there are not enough staff. This is where politics comes into play. However, my mother has been doing much better since she moved in and I also notice that all the employees are genuinely hard-working and friendly. Even if they don't notice that I happen to be listening in. The rooms and cleanliness are also fine. She also usually likes the food (and my mother was always strict about that). A few years ago I had to place my father in another nursing home and as a result I have a more nuanced picture of the situation. To be honest: old people are inherently difficult to deal with. Not just physically but also mentally. In addition, there are often know-it-all relatives, the shortage of staff and the tense situation because there are hardly any places available. Of course, something gets forgotten or, in my opinion, done too late. But: All the important things, such as finding a new family doctor, organizing doctor's visits, patient transport, keeping appointments in hospitals, administering medication, helping with going to the toilet, etc. have been done well so far. I honestly have the impression that this new living situation is good for my mother. And that counts. So far I'm really happy with "like daham".

The saying “hui on the outside, yuck on the inside” applies very well to this facility.
