The Viva Luzern Wesemlin elderly center has a beautiful and quiet location. The center includes two buildings; the Haus Abendstern & Haus Morgenstern with a single specialized dementia department. Both buildings are connected to each other and it has a public restaurant called Venus (with a large salad and food buffet). There is also a small animal enclosure with chickens and rabbits and a small playground in the inner courtyard. Nearby is the Capuchin monastery with a walk-in monastery garden. There are many additional offers for residents such as; Physiotherapy, activation therapy, pastoral care and church services in the house, attractive event program, hairdresser, pedicure and laundry. The staff is extremely friendly and you can feel a pleasant working atmosphere.

The Venus is the public restaurant in the Viva Lucerne Wesemlin senior center. There is a self-service buffet from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a large selection of hot and cold delicacies that change daily. You can also enjoy fine cakes and tarts from a local bakery all day long and there are various seasonal special offers such as raclette, fondue and pizza days, burger and hot dog weeks, etc. In summer, the inner courtyard with parasols invites you to eat outside and from April to October you can enjoy fine Italian gelati.
