My father entered the Villa Iris residence in Mesagne a few days ago. When the ASL informed me that there was a place available I was happy but also worried because I feared that I would entrust my father to people who were unfit to treat frail elderly people. I soon realized that my worries were unfounded as from the first meeting with the managers, social workers, doctor and service staff I understood how great the value, humanity and love they put into us. I feel calmer now and I hope to be able to convince my mother to entrust herself to the care and great professionalism of these angels. Thank you

My mom passed away a few days ago. I don't want to celebrate here either her or how important she was to me, throughout my life. And his photo from 2 years ago, on the day of his 90th birthday passed without me due to the anti-covid closure, only highlights how much Villa Iris was considered by the RSSA, especially by the OS. I will be forever grateful to this facility that took care of my mother from 2016 until the end. But the "structure" to which I am referring is not an abstract entity or known to me in a superficial way: I went to my mother's house very often and I directly met almost all the people at Villa Iris in Mesagne. Regardless of their qualifications, duties and assignments, I consider them all true professionals but above all for me they are women and men who work not only out of duty and for a salary (often inadequate) but because they never forget that they are in "care " of people in need of attention, consideration, and......... affection, especially when their loved ones cannot (or do not want) to be close to them. I truly thank everyone and with all my heart: the management staff, the administrative staff, the reception, the kitchen and cleaning staff and, last but not least, the nurses and healthcare workers. Thank you for your attention and patience shown to my mother and also towards me, with my small but continuous observations, questions and comments. I respect you immensely and love you. Thank you.
The facility welcomed my father who unfortunately was in very critical conditions (nasogastric tube feeding, urethral catheter, bedridden, with bed sores). During the months of his stay, all the operators took care of my father, ensuring that day after day his conditions improved more and more. Today, eight months later, to our immense joy, dad was able to return home on his own legs and completely rehabilitated both from a psychological and physical point of view. On behalf of my entire family, I thank each member of the staff for the wonderful work they have done and for having rehabilitated a patient who, despite his young age, seemed destined for an unfortunately very different fate. Thank you very much, the Errico family.
Excellent structure, I have my mother a piece of my heart in the structure, I thank each of you, medical doctors etc. You are all exceptional, I left mum in excellent hands. Unfortunately my mum had a bad cerebral ischemia 😭 with cognitive consequences and I can say she is treated like a princess, thank you again for everything, you truly love your job.
