This Vasavi Shanthidhama in Mysore, the place is very beautiful, Lot of mosquito in the room, Common air vent for two bathrooms. If the other bathroom light on it will reflect. The food Rice is good, but side sambar no Dall in it very bad. No curds. Chapati is not good. They have to give attention on food.
I must share my most harrowing experience. I put my 77 year old cousin on Sunday night after reading all the positive reviews, but I was so disappointed . The manager their is very arrogant, inconsiderate & money minded. He only talks of payment. He did not give any receipt too. What was shocking is all the senior citizens are standing in a line to collect lunch, breakfast etc. In the evening of their lives putting them to such hardship is heart wrenching. As my cousin was suffering from cellulitis they told that we need to pay 3000 Re extra towards bringing food , washing his clothes & cleaning his room. But the very next the amount was increased to 4000 Re. While vacating it was increased to 6000Re !!!!!!!!!!!!!! . Ultimately we paid 3000 for 3 days & no receipt was issued. Hope the management looks into the running of the senoir citizen home & takes action. If the home does not accept sick senior citizen then please mention in the pamphlet, so that people will refrain .
