I recently had the unfortunate experience of admitting a loved one to Shubodahaya Old Age Home, and I feel compelled to share my observations to help others make an informed decision. At first glance, the facility appeared well-maintained and clean during the admission process. The staff showcased different buildings that seemed welcoming and well-organized, which gave us a sense of comfort and assurance about our choice. However, this initial impression quickly deteriorated into a troubling experience. Just two days after admission, my loved one was unexpectedly moved to a different building in the middle of the night without any prior notification or consent from our family. This lack of communication is not only unprofessional but also deeply concerning for the well-being of residents who may already be feeling vulnerable in a new environment. The abrupt relocation raised numerous red flags about the management's practices and their commitment to transparency. It became increasingly clear that Shubodahaya Old Age Home operates more like a business focused on profit than a genuine care facility for the elderly. The initial presentation of the home feels like a façade, masking a deeper issue of mismanagement and disregard for the residents' needs and their families' peace of mind. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Shubodahaya Old Age Home based on my experience. The lack of communication, questionable practices, and the feeling that this establishment is running a scam in the name of elder care are all significant concerns. If you are considering options for elderly care, I urge you to look elsewhere and thoroughly research other facilities that prioritise the dignity and well-being of their residents.

Experience at Shubodahaya Old Age Home: A Cautionary Tale I feel compelled to share my recent experience with Shubodahaya Old Age Home, as it has been an incredibly disappointing and concerning journey for our family. Initially, we were drawn to Shubodahaya due to its seemingly welcoming environment and the positive impression created during our tour. The staff appeared friendly, and the facilities looked well-kept. However, this initial optimism quickly faded once my loved one was admitted. Within just 48 hours, my family member was moved to a different building without any prior notice. This sudden relocation occurred late at night, leaving us bewildered and anxious about their safety and comfort. The lack of communication from the staff was alarming; we received no explanation or reassurance about this decision. It felt as though the residents' needs were secondary to the facility's operational logistics. As time went on, we noticed further issues that compounded our concerns. The staff seemed overworked and stretched thin, leading to delays in assistance for residents who required help with daily activities. On several occasions, we witnessed instances where residents were left unattended for extended periods, which is unacceptable for any care facility. Moreover, attempts to address our concerns with management were met with vague responses and a dismissive attitude. This lack of accountability only heightened our discomfort and distrust in the home’s ability to provide adequate care. In summary, my experience with Shubodahaya Old Age Home has been far from satisfactory. What initially seemed like a promising option turned out to be a source of distress for both my loved one and our family. I strongly advise anyone considering this facility to proceed with caution and thoroughly explore alternative options that genuinely prioritize the care and well-being of their residents.
As I entered the premises,i could see flower pots lined up which provided positive Vibes to the centre. The staff were extremely cordially and were seen enthusiastically participating in their work. I could see that Mrs Shobha has sound knowledge and his attention to minute details in managing the centre is commendable.very well-maintained and I wish all the very best for this noble cause. I came out with loads of knowledge as he is a pioneer in the domain
Most horrifying experience faced, I got my mom admitted there and the bed and room showed by Shobha was different, all of a sudden in midnight they shifted her to a different place that place was stinky and very dark spooky and no network as they have jammers placed in the building. No proper food provided, no facilities. What was more shocking was that lady mentioned she will give medicine mixed in food for people who argue or questions about anything there and make that silent. My mom stayed there for 3 days and felt the pain. After hearing all these I could not leave my mom there, and decided to bring her back. Unfortunately until then this lady mentioned she owns the place but suddenly when she has to give back money that became a trust. I lost 37k just for 3 days of staying there. Very unprofessional behaviour. Please don't let your parents suffer here.
