The Sereni Orizzonti facility in Lambrate represents a professional and human point of reference for those who have a relative who needs assistance. Particularly worthy of mention are the competence and availability of the medical and nursing staff, very well coordinated by the Management, as well as the entertainment service which goes beyond mere entertainment and offers an inclusive approach to guests

I have a relative at the property, if I could remove even the "minimum" star I would remove it. Staff (OSS) absolutely undersized compared to the number of guests (even if calling them "guests" sounds strange since they pay a fee that is close to €3,000/month...!), generally 2 people per floor. It is not possible to visit your loved ones during the established hours if you DO NOT make an appointment first (?!? It is perhaps the only structure with this "rule"). But then the reason is quickly explained: guests are "prepared" (personal hygiene, shower or shave) before the visit. Several times the relative was not ready because he was still under the care of the OSS. Very - too often - they are left without clean underwear ("the clean clothes from the laundry haven't arrived yet" *which is on the ground floor*). The guest complains of having slept several times without a sheet. I personally visited the dining room: the desolation in seeing Formica tables dirty with now black adhesive residues left and never cleaned after the removal of adhesive labels of the names of the guests who left the structure. Guests have lunch and dinner without a tablecloth, directly on the Formica. I think it's time to stop here. As soon as possible we will take our loved one to a more welcoming and respectful facility for our elderly.
Except for the food, prepared on site, and some nurses for their empathy towards the guests. For everything else it is understandable why it is the only RSA without a waiting list. It's a place you only end up in for unexpected emergencies. Disorganized at the highest levels, they mix up medications, they even allow themselves to skip treatments (criminal stuff), they don't have a real doctor in the facility, zero entertainment, ridiculous meal times (dinner at 5.30pm), clothes never returned from the laundry, poor cleanliness, incorrect information and lack of internal communication, not to mention the mind-boggling tuition. Until the day of my resignation they demonstrated the carelessness with which they carry out their role, they even made me pay an extra day. But never mind, just to take my mother away.
Bad structure. If you care about your loved ones, look at other facilities.
I live - unfortunately - in the building opposite and you can often hear the guests of the nursing home screaming for a long time, even at night, asking for help. It is a shame that weak people do not receive prompt support. For disturbing the peace, I will soon take action to protect myself.
