Skilled rooms are very spacious. The therapy team is great and works hard with the patients to have them return home after rehabilitation. The nursing department is fantastic. They always go above and beyond for the patients. There is no agency or contract nursing in this facility, which allows continuity of care and the same friendly faces daily. The activity department is always busy and encourages all patients to come out and participate. Facility is located in a easy to find area and right off the interstate.
This place is horrible, a nurse told us that she didn’t give our loved one water because they urinate too much, also said they weren’t worried about them eating because they were giving Ensure daily, could eat foods just needed them puréed. Family provided drinks all they had to do was place the table bedside but they would move it so it couldn’t be reached at all.
Very thankful to the staff at Fountain West! I was at a loss as to how to get my mom the help she needed after yet another fall and injury and they took her into skilled nursing with open arms. She continues to form relationships with all of the staff and is getting cared for with compassion and understanding. Thanks for all you do!
I love the staff and care that my mother gets at fountain west. They are like family to us. If you are considering a care facility for a loved one, please visit them. They are good people
