The Lake Chapala area has many nursing homes and places offering assisted living. However, there are only a few that offer a higher level of care and consideration for the patient and those involved in the care of the patient. This place is one of the best.

I cannot tell you how happy my wife and I are for the wonderful care my father in law is receiving from all the beautiful, kind, friendly, compassionate and professional/skilled workers at Mi Casita. We thank God every day for leading us to Mi Casita. My father-in-law has been at Mi Casita for 14 months and looks fantastic and happy with the great care that he’s getting. Thank you for providing a family environment. Mi Casita is a perfect fit for our 92 year old father, because he likes people, great food and personal attention. Thank you again to the management and all the great staff for excellent care.
This is my "home" & as such, I am very happy & content. Oh, yes we have the lovely gardens, all property well kept, a chef who serves a healthy variety of meals, staff that are caring yet professional with each resident, plus there is the atmosphere of a small community. We can talk, sit out doors & share meals together, feel safe & worry free. Indeed this is a "home" for each of us with possessions, family pictures, friends , assistance & security. Lucky us!!!!!!!!!
A Friend is staying and I went for a visit. Very nice place and atmosphere. There seemed to be as many employees as guests. From what he told me they are helping with his recovery from surgery and also with daily physical therapy. The employees I did interact with all seemed very nice. I even asked a couple to pose by their front door which they did and you can see in the photos. They offer long and short term assistance. As with my amigo he is recovering and receiving daily physical therapy. He has also told me that it has helped him a lot and is able to do more and increased his mobility. Kudos to Mi casita they seem to truly care about the people staying there and in helping to improve their lives. I have seen others that look at the people there more as a paycheck or income than in improving or making them more comfortable in their daily lives. IT is my understanding a woman owns and runs it. My friend pointed her out while I was there. I did not meet or speak with her while there but She is doing an excellent job. All the staff seemed to be happy and were all involved and interacting with all the people staying there. Even if they were just walking by I would hear them asking if they needed anything, how they felt and were doing etc.
Wonderful staff, clean and kind.
