As a BSW trainee i got a chance to spend one month in this agency (Living Life Trust). This agency is the one of the best NGO in Kozhikode, this organization provided me with extensive knowledge about community Welfare, particularly focusing on elderly care, making it one of the top NGOs in terms of exposure and experience. It was a nice experience.
As a social worker it's been one year working with "Living Life Trust". Thank you for always believing in me and pushing me to achieve more. Your guidance and support have made all the difference in my growth.I'm grateful for the opportunities you've given me to learn and grow. It's an organization for the elder citizens, providing care, Therapies, conducting various activities for improving their social, psychological and social wellbeing . All the staffs are very friendly and working together for the betterment of our elder one's.
I feel short of words to express our gratitude and appreciation to Tharavadu - Living Life Trust for taking care of my uncle during his last few months of life. My Uncle was a widower and his sons were abroad. Lately he was suffering from chronic illness, and had to get his foot amputated. He was not in a position to live a normal non-assisted life. And our search for a good place for him to stay landed us up at Tharavadu. I must say this was the best ever assistance we could provide him. The professionally managed organisation was very different from what one would normally expect of a normal old-age home. The place was a very vibrant place were the people in the second innings of their lives came together to enjoy and celebrate. I am sure that my uncle enjoyed his stay there. The professionalism, the hygiene, the compassionate nursing care, the strict medical attention - everything was way too satisfying for the inmates and relatives. And all this was being provided at a very minimal cost, and we could not call it nothing short of a HUMANITARIAN SERVICE. And I am very thankful to the whole Thaaravadu team - Mr.Varghese, Mrs.Darly, Mrs.Mercy, Leo, Sneha, and all the others whose name I don't know, for considering and treating my uncle just like one of their close relative till he passed away. Highly recommended for those who find it not possible to look after their dear ones in the old ages, due to any situation, you can leave them happily in their safe hands.
