This is an all-new and passionately created home away from home. The owner Andrea was a great host and Imelda his assistant was also very helpful. Had a lovely, peaceful, relaxing time to unwind. You have to be there to understand how beautiful it is. So much inspiration to borrow from this hidden gem and understandably so because Andrea is an architect by trade. Rooms were styled well and the bathroom was also just perfect. Good to know he tries to be as environmentally friendly as possible and it shows. Glad to have made a new friend. No doubt will be back. PS: Thursday night is disco night.
The Lions' Luxury Eco Resort & Spa in Malindi was a great choice for my vacation. The resort has very nice pool, surrounded by large dune palm trees that create a tropical atmosphere. The resort also offers Ethiopian cuisine, which was a pleasant surprise. The food was spicy and flavorful, and the service was ecxellent. The resort also arranged a complimentary tour to Marafa Hells Kitchen, which is a stunning natural wonder. The tour was informative and fun, with breathtaking views. The Lions' Resort is a fantastic place to stay in Malindi, and will definately come back.
Lions House is a quiet, clean, spacious and calming place with an amazing newly designed garden by the owner and an architect Andrea, It is very near the centre of Malindi and close to all the lovely restaurants and local markets of the area. The whole place made us feel at ease. Andrea was very nice, easy to talk to and a great cook himself. who makes delicious meal..I would always come again!
The place is literally heaven on earth, it's so beautiful the ambience is to die for. The chefs are really good at what they do. My favourite place was the pool and the swing-bed by the garden and ofcourse the multipurpose oven by the pool where we made pizzas from. Andrea is such an amazing host, can't wait to visit again.
