We really LOVE this hotel! We got married here one year ago and we just came back for our first year wedding anniversary. As soon as the staff knew, they set up the sweetest backyard dinner, just the two of us, overlooking the beautiful Alps. The service was top-notch! All the staff were super friendly, always smiling and helping. The food was amazing, the pool was great - highly recommend to try their dinner!!! Truly the best. We hope to continue coming back here again year after year!!! Many thanks to Botond who served us for dinner, Paul - the restaurant manager who was so attentive and sweet to set up a dinner table for us, Johannes - the director who came by and congratulated us, Nick - the bar guy who served us the best champagne & cocktail and Mel - who welcomed us for dinner.

This hotel is excellent. The service is outstanding and makes this hotel stand out from many other places I have stayed. The pool and sauna areas are spectacular with unique mountain views. The resteraunt and bar area is well designed, spacious and a lovely place to relax. The free shuttle to the ski lifts is also great. Breakfast is phenomenal. Dinner is very good, menu is limited for vegetarians...but that's true of most of the Alpes!
Good location, great view, but unfortunately neither the service nor some of the facilities do not even beat 4 stars. At first sight the castle hotel is a disappointment, because most of the hotel rooms are located in a completely modern building, and the restaurant is also so modern that it doesn't have any "castle feeling". In fact, connecting the new part of the building to the castle is quite complicated. The service is unfortunately poor. At dinner you have to queue to be escorted to your table by a hostess. Unfortunately, the hostess with the big false eyelashes in the evening was inconsiderate and always gave us wrong table, even though we had told her our requirements. Which weren't big things, it was more like the night before we had a place where they kept pushing our chair. We would have been happy to skip that next time. Or the fact that we asked not to be seated at a table of 8 people we didn't know on New Year's Eve (there were two of us). Finally we ended up eating by the bar... On New Year's Eve, the buffet solution is pretty poor. Lots of elderly, nicely dressed ladies and gentlemen were crawling around after every course... not what you expect on a festive day... And the offerings were in a dimly lit room where you didn't even know what you were putting on your plate. And on other days when they served a menu, there were occasions when dinner took 3.5 hours because the kitchen was so slow... We were not informed when to expect what, we had to ask for everything separately (e.g. whether there would be a buffet or a menu tomorrow, and from what time). Room service was not available, minibar was empty. These are all things that should not happen in a 4 star hotel! We spent a week here, which is why we had time to watch all the disorganization. The biggest problem was the disorganisation. With better management and good organisation, this could be a pretty good place, one where you say, "It was worth it... "
My wife and I stayed here at the tail end of the ski season for our honeymoon. The hotel and surrounding areas are beautiful - we had a room in the castle and it was the coolest hotel room I’ve stayed in. Getting into town for skiing was easy with the shuttle, though we did wish it ran longer into the evening - but the walk back to the hotel was easy and scenic. One of the best parts though was the food. We loved the breakfast every morning, and ended up spending two dinners at the restaurant on the first floor which was outstanding. The staff were great too. Definitely recommend it.
I was here a lot of years after My experience it was amazing. The hotel is better than before. The room, incredible, with a big bedroom and a perfect toilet and bathroom The restaurant, breakfast buffet and dinner, a select austriatiche cuisine. Two things at last but no least: the superb panorama pool and spa area and the excellent level of service for the personnel staff. If you visit the Wilder Kaiser or skiing in Kitzbuhel this is your hotel. Congratulations for a good balance between quality and price. I'll come back !
