It’s a marvelous spot for a winter break. The hotel is small enough to be cosy. The place is run by beautiful family, they are alway ready to help, so positive, kind and flexible. Breakfast are delicious, tasty tea and coffee - all products are high quality. Rooms are spacey and well equipped, with great view. There is a cleaning service every day . In the afternoon/evening it’s possible to use spa center that is situated on the ground floor. It’s easy to get to ski resorts by ski bus and there are many places for cross country skiing. It’s the best place in Austria for winter sports I have been so far and I’m not going to check another places since I know this one.

Perfectly clean, comfortable and functional apartments, with good set of kitchen utensils. Nice view, good location for Pitztal. Well working ski room with good drying capabilities. Very good sauna facility. A place to return.

Absolut empfehlenswert! Das Hotel Garni Romantika hat uns auch beim zweiten Besuch begeistert! Die Familie, die das Hotel führt, ist unglaublich nett und herzlich. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Gastfreundschaft wird hier groß geschrieben. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gemütlich – hier kann man entspannen. Das Highlight war definitiv das mega tolle Frühstück! Jeden Tag gab es ein neues Frühstückshighlight, immer frisch, lecker und mit Liebe zubereitet. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt für Skiurlauber, da der Skibus ganz in der Nähe abfährt. So kommt man schnell und unkompliziert auf die Piste. Nach einem aktiven Tag auf der Skipiste konnten wir im tollen Wellnessbereich des Hotels entspannen. Wir können das Hotel Garni Romantika wärmstens empfehlen und werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen! Vielen Dank für den wunderschönen Aufenthalt!
I went skiing there for 3 nights and it was great!! Erika is a very nice host and has decorated the house and the rooms (I was in the “cuddly room”) really beautifully. Breakfast with an egg of your choice, coffee of your choice (I'm more of a filter coffee type, which was also available!) and various types of sausage, cheese and muesli was also great. The sauna is large enough and you can also go outside (through the reception area). Cooling down in the snow also worked. I can only warmly recommend the house! The Gletscher/Rifflseee ski area is approx. 12 minutes away (by car). I didn't do Hochweiser, it should be about 20 minutes away. I prefer high pointers. More challenging slopes (note: slopes at the Grubenkopf are also GREAT), better value for money, nicer huts. It's a little further away, but still doable. There is no dinner in the house. I went to “Zur Einkehr” (walking distance, down-to-earth, real local restaurant) and once to the Bergwerk (about 10 minutes by car, cool, delicious). It was a wonderful vacation!!
