I love this special retreat center. It is a hidden gem in Karen, providing a beautiful, quiet place to rest, pray, and connect with others. It is a Christian retreat center that also supports empowerment programs for women and children in Kibera through the profits. The decor is all locally made by artisans, the food is delicious, and the hospitality is wonderful. Irene takes such good care of the guests, so you feel like you are staying at your beloved aunties home. The gardens make the retreat center extra special, providing do much peaceful serenity. The location is also great for accessing all the key local boutique shops, restaurants, Nairobi National park, Giraffe Center, elephant orphanage, and more. It is also the perfect place for a private retreat, a safe and comfortable place for a family, or a great option for a small ministry/church group retreat. If you are looking for an affordable, beautiful, and welcoming place to stay, then I highly recommend this retreat center.

It's a quiet, serene and beautiful place you would love so stay in. The accommodation is really awesome, the rooms have an extra touch of African artistry. The food, hygiene and timeliness is awesome. The staffs, they give you three customer experience you deserve. This place is home.
The simplicity and elegance, all wrapped in one package. The place is tastefully decorated with African memorabilia. The buildings and food is simple and tastefully done. The place is located away from the main road so will not hear the noise of traffic. There are meeting rooms that are spacious and the bedroom host about three beds per room. For the cold of Karen. There was enough bedding and the comfort and softness knocked me out and I did not hear about 11 missed calls that happened after I slept which is rare for me. The ambience is welcoming. The place is neat to a fault. The staff are very friendly and it feels like home away from home. One can tell the ladies have had a go at the interior deco.
I had an amazing experience at Homecare Retreat Center. The quiet and peaceful atmosphere provided the perfect environment for me to connect with God on a deeper level.
