The experience I had with my mother, Aurea Almeda, at the Hogar de Oro Care Center was one of excellence. During the 5 1/2 years that he was under their care he was excellent, a lot of love, cleanliness and attention to his health. I recommend this center to everyone who has a family member who needs care.

I don't even know where to start. Because there is so much I would like to be able to write. Marked a star because the system requires it. I can only say that if you really love your loved ones, don't put them in this place. For me and my family it was a nightmare, the way in which they committed negligence on my Grandmother. Brenda, I only ask Our Almighty that you never have to live the experience that you made us live with our grandmother, with a loved one of yours. You have to love them, pamper them, and protect them. They are not just a symbol of number. My family doesn't hold a grudge against you anymore if we want the old people who are there to be heard, and for those who come to know the reality. God bless you.
I do not recommend this place to anyone please. If I had taken care of my mother she would be alive but due to the negligence of this home my mother was left to rot and she got sepsis and unfortunately you already know what happened. My mother ate and could be put in a wheelchair and what they did was tell us that she didn't eat and that we had to give her a gastro and because of our ignorance and desperation they did it for her and then they put her in bed until one day she took it out. gastro and at the hospital we found out about the severe abuse that had been done to my dear mother. This was strong and sad, how we cried, but it was too late. God willing, don't worry about this, and to the owner who treated us badly and irresponsibly, she didn't care. Maybe she'll live with a relative or maybe it won't happen to her, but hey, Karma exists.
I don't recommend this place to anyone...I won't go into details but if you love your"old people" please don't take them to this place...in less than two months it almost cost my mother her life...from a woman who ate alone...walked...talked...to a woman who couldn't even sit...her health deteriorated greatly I JUST THANK GOD that she is no longer in that place
