We had a lovely 5 day stay at the beginning of April. I'd definitely recommend this place. Pros: -Stunning location around 40 mins from Florence centre. -Ample parking and other amenities. -Very clean. -Super friendly staff. Small cons: -The rooms have no soundproofing and you can hear everything upstairs and next door. -Barely any lighting in the rooms (just lamps in the bedroom). -A lack of plug sockets, meaning we had no lighting in the bedroom if we wanted to charge our phones etc.

The villa is in a stunning location, but it's very difficult to reach without a car. Despite what the website says, there’s no actual shuttle service—just locals offering rides for €50 for a 10-minute trip. This was frustrating, especially since we were attending a wedding and didn’t rent a car. The room was underwhelming for the price: very simple, a bit outdated, with a small TV and no basic amenities like a fridge or kettle. We were booked into a standard room, even though the apartment option cost the same, and weren’t given a choice. We also weren’t told that restaurant reservations were necessary until it was too late, and they were already overbooked. Without a car, we couldn’t go into town to find food. Beautiful setting, but overall not worth the hassle.
We had a deeply disappointing experience with this hotel. Despite multiple emails and follow-ups on our end, we received little to no response when trying to confirm a group booking. Each time we did manage to get in touch, the quoted price increased—eventually doubling the original rate offered. In the end, the hotel chose not to proceed with the booking, claiming it was due to a "lack of communication" on our part, when in reality it was their repeated failure to respond that made it impossible to move forward. The combination of shifting rates, poor communication, and lack of accountability raises serious concerns for anyone considering this property—especially groups or organizations seeking a professional and transparent partner.
Avoid this place for your stay. Disappointing apartments: Quite dark, almost no water pressure, just enough hot water for one shower (5 min). Then need to wait for the boiler to get some hot water again. Horrible service: they charged us the tourists tax twice. It was already charged via booking.com and they charged us again on check out. Booking.com is helping us to dispute and get a refund.
Beautiful location, amazing wiew. Room: Cold, no duvet only sheet and blanket. Not clean. Toilet leaking, rusty bathtub. Staff: Rude, unpleasant. No service whatsoever. We could not go riding since the stable staff were not working since we did not book in advance. No information about booking riding ahead of time, prices or availability where on the booking. You can not book riding with the hotel at all, you have to call a number that is not on the website to inquire about riding. Restaurant: Waiter was pleasant. House wine was ok, but not good. Gnocci was horrible, could not eat it. The "Tradition" was not good at all, the only edible thing was the french fries. Do not eat here. 2/10 only because of the wiew. Would not reccomend, will not return. Awful experience but nice pictures
