I found out about the residence online and I have to say I was impressed from the start. From the first phone call, my husband and I were treated very friendly and professionally. All communication went smoothly and when we arrived for the viewing we received a warm welcome. The tour of the residence was very informative, they took a lot of time for us and answered all of our questions in detail. It was particularly nice that we were invited to dinner - we enjoyed it wonderfully! Next up for us is the trial living, and I am sure that we will feel very comfortable in this residence. So far our impression has been consistently positive and I'm looking forward to the next steps

I've been in the seniors' residence for a while now and I feel right at home here. The staff is great and always there when you need something. I especially like the restaurant - the food is very tasty and there is always something new. The atmosphere here is very cozy. The concierge service is very practical and helps with everything. I'm really glad I live here. I highly recommend it!
When it came time for us to find a suitable retirement home for my grandmother, we of course had a lot of worries and concerns. But from the moment we walked into the Downtown Residence, we knew we had made the right decision. The staff is not only extremely professional, but also incredibly warm and patient. My grandmother felt welcome and in good hands from day one. The loving care and numerous activities offered here have given her new entertainment and activity that we so desired. The facility itself is modern, bright and very clean. The apartment is of the highest standard and offers plenty of space, whilst the communal areas are welcoming so she always has company when she wants. What particularly impressed us is the open communication with the employees. They always take the time to update us on my grandma's health and answer all of our questions. It's a reassuring feeling to know that she is in good hands here and that she will get the support she needs. Thanks to the entire team.
Before I decided to move to the Josefstadt Residence, I 'test lived' there twice for a week each. No horse foot found. I've been living here for over a year now - still no smell of the devil. As I got older, I became quite afraid of them ghastly senior citizen storage establishments, the ones with the bright furniture and colorful faux leather covers on the seats; Nurses who pat you on the cheeks, more or less firmly... None of this in the Josefstadt Residence. The unfurnished apartments are simply well planned and high-class: 3.40 meters high, white walls in all apartments, light parquet on underfloor heating (individually controlled), box windows - not even the tram makes any noise; Because of the solid construction in 1905, you can't hear the neighbors, upper and lower bars either. Electric blinds. Everything is wheelchair accessible, as is the entire house; 6 red alarm buttons in the apartment with a direct connection to the nursing department. The fitted kitchens are first class furnished and equipped. Miele washing machine and dryer in an extra room on each floor. The underground car park can be reached via a lift directly from the living level. The restaurant is subtle, beautiful and very well lit, not at all in the old people's home style that I fear. The food is very good and presented in an aesthetically pleasing manner. Richest breakfast from the buffet. There is enough choice every day and dietary requirements are taken into account. The whole thing under the highly competent, friendly leadership of the director, with selected, attentive, interested, professional helpers. I had always admired Coco Chanel, or Udo Lindenberg, because they lived in the Ritz or Atlantic, instead of in the property. And now I can feel the same way: Total satisfaction (even for the dog, which you are allowed to bring with you - it is included in the rental agreement with a photo and has its run in the dog zone on Hamerlingplatz). And that too in the middle of Vienna! Where else?
Fine place to end your life at the end of your life. The concierge staff is particularly attentive and willing to cooperate; your wishes are literally read from your lips!
