My husband was in rehab for about six weeks for physical and speech therapy. The staff was excellent and always friendly. If I had questions or concerns they promptly responded. The facility was awesome and well maintained. His day nurse and cna were very attentive. He was in another facility prior to this one and the comparison is night and day.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. I placed my mom here a couple of years ago and could not have made a better decision. She is happy and engaged in activities daily. Just this past week we celebrated her Birthday. The band was amazing. Special Thanks to Stephanie N. who goes above and beyond for my Mother and I.
My grandmother has never had Covid until she came to Cypress Point and she has had it twice now because of the staff. I know this because my grandmother does not get visitors only my mom and me and we don’t have Covid nor have we been exposed to it. We have suspected that she was not eating because of her weight loss. So we placed a camera in her room. We observed them bring her food and putting it on her tray stand and walking off, she was still sleeping. One day I walked in and she was in her wheel chair wanting to get in bed and the only thing there was a mattress. This had been like this for most of the day. They also rummage through her belongings and take things, we observed the head nurse doing this and then walked by the camera and made a middle finger gesture. They don’t bathe her either, not even a sponge bath. Today 12/10/24 my mother arrived to see my grandmother in the bed clean, however, when she went into the bathroom it was covered in facies. All over the walls, the sink, and the toilet, I am not exaggerating. They brought her to the bathroom and left her on the toilet so she tried to go back to bed. Knowing she has Covid and hurting like she is with fever why would you do that to an elderly woman. We are beside ourselves and frustrated beyond belief.
My sister in law is there and is very active there. She has really thrived since moving to Cypress Point. The activities have really helped her, and she loves to get out of her room and enjoy all the special guest they have, participating in the art competitions, chatting with her friends and listening to the musical guest. She especially enjoys the movie theater and attending church in the chapel. She loves all the celebrations they have along with the parties. Cypress makes living there feel like everyday life and they encourage them to get out and participate. She enjoys the food! Cypress Point is not just another nursing home it is their home.
Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience at Cypress Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Center I was a student at Cypress Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and while I did not pass my test, I was still allowed to work on the floor. I took my duties seriously and gave my best effort every day. However, out of nowhere, I was fired without any notice or explanation. I find it extremely unprofessional that a facility would let a student work without fully passing their test and then abruptly terminate them without proper communication. This kind of treatment leaves students and employees feeling undervalued and disrespected. If they had concerns about my performance, they should have addressed them earlier rather than putting me in a working position and then firing me without warning. I expected more transparency and professionalism from Cypress Point, and my experience there left much to be desired. Prospective students and employees should be aware of the lack of communication and unclear policies at this facility.
