We spent three lovely nights at the City Lion Apartments in Heraklion. Our loft apartment was spacious and so well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed for a quick meal break. The staff were incredibly helpful. They made dinner reservations for us, made sure we knew where we were going, and helped us turn of the heating in the apartment (Greeks like the temperature warmer than Wisconsinites in March). I spend several lovely hours sipping wine on the small balcony. The location could not be better for shopping and dining. We had a great visit!

50% of the hotels on Crete are reported to have Legionella. We, travelling with a small child and personal health issues, need to cancel the trip therefore. The hotel however is not allowing us to cancel the trip. Sad, that they dont care. be aware!
Excellent location in the center of the city and at the same time in a quiet neighborhood. Cozy and modern rooms. Easy check in/out. Very friendly and helpful staff. Whenever we have visitors, we always recommend it, and they are never disappointed.
City Lion has it all. It is lovely boutique apartments in a perfect position for everything you need when staying in Heraklion Town. We were given a very warm and helpful welcome from the front of house staff who told us everything we needed to know and everyone was always on hand with helpful advice. The hotel has obviously had a recent refurbishment and our apartment was cosy, but with all the most modern facilities. The view from our small balcony lived up to it's reputation. The Town and Restaurants only seconds away and we found everything we needed within a short stroll. If you are looking for 5 star facilties in a delightful enviroment, Look no further.
An ideal location for visiting Heraklion. The apartment was immaculate and spacious. The management were both helpful and flexible, with great restaurant recommendations. Everything was within a short walk, yet the apartment was peacefully quiet. Great value - highly recommended to anyone.
