I cannot speak highly enough about Chatswood. My father was in palliative care there for over a year. The manager (Kyla) is incredibly personable and hands-on. She makes sure every resident is cared for and she ensures their needs are met. Although my father needed hospital care, he was still very young and lucid, so Kyla arranged for him to be able to have his meals in the retirement village's dining room, where he could enjoy a more socially suitable atmosphere at meal time. The culture of the village is respectful and friendly. All staff smile and say hi as you walk through. The place is homely and kept amazingly clean. There are no "old people" smells as you walk through the corridors. There are lots of tucked away lounge areas for guests to visit and a lovely sunny courtyard. They had just taken on a rocking young new chef when I last visited in May - and I overheard several residents complimenting her on the cuisine. They are so spoilt at the village with freshly baked cakes, scones and other goodies for morning/afternoon teas. The retirement rooms/apartments are spacious and well appointed. Put this on the top of your list of places to check out if you are looking for top-notch respite, palliative, retirement or aged-care at a really decent price point.

What a wonderful boutique aged care facility. Impressive from the minute you pull into the driveway and gets better as you enter the front door. Very well run, yet personable! They set the standard for what a boutique aged care facility looks and feels like!
A BIG Thank you Kyla for the care and support given to Mum (Alma) during her stay with you. I wasn't sure how she would settle but she truly enjoyed her stay and said all staff and residents were wonderful and made her feel at home. Kind regards Karen
Thank you to all at Chatswood for the care and love you gave to my sister-in-law in the last few months of her life. I cannot speak highly enough of everyone. Regardless of their position or role (owner, manager, nurses, care assistants, receptionist, handyman - and others I may be unaware of) each person did their utmost, and with compassion, to accommodate her very individual and changing needs. Thank you – and when it is my turn I hope you have a space available for me!!! Christine
Excellent staff and service. Food and coffee consistently very good. Best CC in the city by far! 💜❤️💜
