And has strong connection to the Night Templars you see everywhere there cross ,even carved in the walls high up search for the history of the Night Templars. The location looks nice, the rooms are okay for the price, but the organization and staff have a lot of room for improvement. We weren't told where our room is after check-in, so we had to go look for it. The caterers at the event where nice and professional, although we had to let them know when we needed refills. At breakfast (which is 8am- 10am, we arrived at 9:15), the eggs were gone. After asking for more, they stated that they had made over 100 eggs for 91 guests, and if some eat two or more, then the eggs are gone. No eggs for me, I guess.
It’s was Sunny day, went with friends. We had a guided tour n that helped us to know the history. The food was arranged there n it was good
One star less, as they don't have guided tours. It is such a great place, full of interesting history, but you have to be patient and read all around.
It is an impressive building, worth admiring. We didn’t manage to find the castle open but it was lovely anyway. I would love to visit it when there is the season. The outside grounds were lovely even though it was winter time. I would love to enter the castle during spring time as it was built by templars.
