In lack of a campground nearby we had no luck searching accommodation on-line. We went to the tourist information, and a friendly lady got us a room here. Parking was spacious, reception was polite. After our walk to the city we had a sundowner at the hotel restaurant. The waiter was very friendly and super attentive. Nice view from the terasse. The only thing we missed a little bit, was that there are two elevators until you reach the room from parking. Cumbersome with heavy luggage.

Great hotel! Clean, calm, close to the parc for morninge runs. Staff are very friendly. Beds are confortable (the pillow was too soft for my taste). I had dinner at the hotel restauranr which was really tasty. Restaurant have a nice terrasse. Not many choice at the breakfast but (good) coffee was made by the staff
Hotel located in a quiet area. Unfortunately, the service is usually surly, and the standard of service is poor (especially in the restaurant). Very poor breakfasts. small selection, and the dishes are not supplemented on a regular basis, so if you come for breakfast later then there is nothing to eat. You can not even freely choose a place where to sit, because the service comes with pretensions. I do not recommend.

Nice location, a short walk to the Aarau historical center. Comfy rooms, breakfast could be better.
